Teachable Moments?

The White House sponsored a beer bash for two men who had previously disagreed on an issue that appeared racial; an issue which should have been addressed prior to a pompous Ivy League professor crying in public. Besides, an African-American president will not solve such issues, because said president is more likely to prove the significance of having a caucasian mother. Besides, this is not the first incident deserving the attention of the White House. This has simply been one of the easier incidents to magnify. Safe negro Complains About a Stern, white Officer Disrespecting Him. That is it! How selfish! It is obvious that the professor did not take advantage of this time with the president or the media to educate a larger audience or acquaint them with the problems that face black faces unable to hide behind an education, DNA or love for previous oppressors.
Whether contempt of cop or embarrassing a Talented Tenth type negro, the police are overdue to police themselves. Black and brown faces are targeted as black bodies are the preferred targets. Hell… no accountability for murdering Blacks. Though, you will get more publicity. Yep! This is what we need for those who Serve fear and brutality and Protect white Amerikans and negroes afraid to be Black.

Protein, Please

One would assume that meat provides all the protein the body needs. However, nutrition is definitely an individual thing. And in terms of genetics, the digestion and assimilation of animal protein may or may not be a problem. Some reports suggest that blood type is a strong indicator of feasible digestion as well. It is obvious that science and big business are in bed together.
Truthfully, poor food combinations and the ingestion of incompatible animal foods have contributed to hypertensive conditions. No doubt, the elimination of said foods could result in a normal blood pressure. After all, we are auto-intoxicating our systems with negative attitudes, drug use, stressful work environments, improper foods and insufficient water consumption. This self-poisoning taxes our liver and kidneys over a period of time and congests one’s constitution and causes hypertension, cirrhosis of the liver, diabetes or cancer.
So, our dependency on animal flesh is nothing more than a reminder of our introduction into slavery, colonialism and continuation of genetic deterioration. There is no guarantee that the frightened, startled or drugged animal that you consume will give you protein or more importantly, health.

Soy, Soy Wrong!

Vegetarianism is considered to be a healthy lifestyle when you overlook the grilled cheese sandwiches, sugary drinks, snack cakes, bleached flour, animal by-products and other denatured items that people attempting to avoid meat unknowingly eat as healthy choices. Report after report seems to send us back to meat consumption as if our bodies need it.
Soy is supposed to offer a replacement for those desiring that meat taste and texture. However, it is reported that soy feminizes males. C’mon! We can’t have that! Many a male are already afraid to be men. In addition, it suggested that soy decreases the penis size. Oops! Too many girl magazines suggesting that the girls - who would have men that desire women - wouldn’t want that. They swear that size matters. Size, supposedly, makes a male a man (when the effeminized community rarely makes mention of this notion). At any rate, soy isn’t looking too good. To top it off, soy is being blamed for causing sexual confusion and homosexuality despite most homosexuals claiming that their homosexuality is inborn. So, this may complicate the influences of estrogen.
On another note, obesity associated with the consumption of soy is an issue. We can’t trust foods labeled as organic; big business doesn’t want us to trust nature; and our health is being damned. What’s really going on?

A Lesson For Amerika

The NFL needs the Michael Vick type despite the NFL commissioner’s, Roger Goodell, decision to micromanage the talented athlete or implement Tony Dungy as a faith based overseer. However, Vick’s return to football shows the maturity of the Amerikan corporation or better yet, an example of what Amerikan companies need to do. After all, Amerika “the land of opportunity” has the highest rate of prisoners per capita of all countries. And if I am wrong – I will not apologize for recognizing that too many are in prison, en route to prison or on probation or parole. This is Amerika… a prison state. Yeah, it is a narco-state as well. Besides, if you do not require a tan, you have a greater chance of going to prison in the U.S. Yes, even if you speak the Queen’s English, play golf, walk without a swagger and like bland food.
Vick deserves to return to his profession and Amerika deserves to recognize the talented, educated, rehabilitated, redeemable individuals who have served time in Amerika’s gulags and returned to society to be nothing more than god-fearing, tax-paying citizens. Of course, this is what the people wanted and this is, more times than not, what the people get. So, if the justice and penal systems are being utilized to disqualify a portion of the labor pool, the judge should inform the jurors that they are possibly ruining a life that has possibly never been equipped to exercise resilience after being subjected to a system designed to strip the average being of their integrity, livelihood, intelligence, and dignity. Amerika can’t afford to continue trashing its citizens and expecting others to remain loyal. The people will soon awake and cease to give hope and change (chains) a chance.

Skip the Gate - Go to Negro!

Lots of talk about the Harvard professor of the human race. Why is there so much focus on the professor’s inconvenience, when communities have been devastated by police brutality and racial profiling since the Black man presented a threat by simply breathing? Look, white males do go to jail and as Skip proved – they don’t stay long. What is he complaining about? His reputation is still in tact; he still has a job; and I am sure that the relationship with his wife has not diminished. C’mon! This is common Amerikan stuff! It would be nice if his status and inconvenience could bring attention to the fact that Black and Brown males are handled differently than others, but the focus seems to be on the notion that a 56% white male, who teaches at Harvard and lives in a safe neighborhood, was arrested on his own property after verbally badgering the officer who’d allegedly warned him after answering a call that someone had broken into this home. Great neighbors!
Why is Skippy even considered Black when it is obvious that he prefers to be identified as anything other than Black? Evidently, the officer did not notice that Skip wasn’t a Black man. He certainly didn’t think that he was disrespecting one of his elders. I would like to think that Mr. Gates was smart enough to identify himself, but this is rather difficult when one assumes that the arresting officer is just as intelligent (despite education or background) just because he is white.
It sad that people are surprised that an educated man, who appears to be Black but prefers to not be recognized as such, would be arrested and booked for breaking into a home in a predominantly non-Black neighborhood. Sure, the police need policing, but it was needed long before some snooty professor was awakened. ‘Hello!’ This is what we need to holla ‘bout! Talk to me!
